WGP Western Geopower Corp Com Npv

To comply with securities laws in Canada, Geysir Green Energy ehf. ("Geysir")
wishes to announce that on March 31, 2008 it acquired ownership of 13,000,000
common shares of Western GeoPower Corp. ("WGP"), representing approximately 7.0%
of WGP's outstanding common shares, pursuant to a private agreement at $0.31 per
share. Following this transaction, Geysir owns 47,333,334 common shares of WGP,
representing approximately 25.4% of WGP's outstanding common shares, and
13,333,334 warrants (the "Warrants"), of which 9,333,334 are exercisable to
purchase one common share of WGP at $0.35 per share and 4,000,000 are
exercisable to purchase one common share of WGP at $0.25 per share. If all of
the Warrants were exercised, Geysir would own 60,666,668 common shares of WGP,
representing 30.4% of the outstanding common shares of WGP (assuming exercise
only of the Warrants). Geysir's acquisition of WGP shares in this transaction
was for investment purposes only. Geysir may, depending on market and other
conditions, acquire additional common shares of WGP through market transactions,
private agreements or otherwise. Geysir may, depending on market conditions,
sell any or all of its common shares of WGP. The acquisition was effected
pursuant to the "private agreement exemption" contained in Multilateral
Instrument 62-104, as the purchase was from not more than five persons and the
value of the consideration paid for the acquired common shares is not greater
than 115% of the market price of the common shares as determined in accordance
with Multilateral Instrument 62-104.
