Industrial conglomerate Siemens AG (SI) Friday said it will
appoint new members to the supervisory board of its lighting unit
Osram once the business is publicly listed.
MAIN FACTS:
-Peter Bauer, who was chief executive of Infineon Technologies
AG (IFX.XE) until September 2012, will become chairman of the
supervisory board.
-Joachim Faber, former member of Allianz SE's (ALV.XE) board of
management, will be named chairman of the audit committee.
-Siegfried Russwurm, member of Siemens' managing board, will
retain his position as Osram chairman of the supervisory board for
an interim period.
-Osram's spinoff from Siemens AG and the ensuing public offering
of Osram Licht AG are slated for July.
