Really? And what "point" would that be? Why don't you take your cough syrup sounding name, get with McKvee, and both of you liquidate your shares and move on? Time for the weak players to bow out; ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE! "There is no strength in weakness!" 💪

McKvee: Your ignorance speaks for itself. You have posted 6 times lately, I might say "negatively" ... sell your penny stock and go seek your fortune elsewhere! I cannot imagine anyone here with any God given common sense and adequate judgement that finds anything you say to be credible! You are a bad joke ... and, no one is laughing! "Clown!" "Frown!" "Get down!" ... adios .................................... ^5 from all!

Is today the day that ALRT's stock price falls below 1¢? Instead of "dollarland any day now" like some of ALRT's cheerleaders have been singing over the last 5 years, we're entering the "less than 1 pennyland, any day now" territory with this company. LOL.

What a joke. On us bag holders. 😪

McKvee: Your comments irk me, really rub me wrong! First of all, ALRTF was over .14 cents when the FDA news broke, in early 2010 the stock was over .30 cents, just last year it was (ask) @ over .30 cents. I am beginning to wonder if you are a paid shill to offer a "false pretense" ... possibly you have no shares and just seek to spew your negative spin(s) and attempt to disillusion others whom have invested their hard earned money to ultimately seek a winner. The LONGS on this board will ultimately prevail ... people like yourself are merely an outspoken "flash in the pan". Obviously, you seek attention here and won't quietly go away. I hope the sincere investor recognizes you for what you truly are and represent. If I was a genie, I would grant this board one wish ... "I'd make you disappear!" ***PRESTO***

gooferball - I'm happy that I brought a smile to your face! I can say that all the "dollarland any day now" chatter from one or two die-hard members on this board made me laugh, as well. Especially after years of hearing it, when we never got above 7 or 8ยข, and now continue to hover around 1.5ยข area, LOL 😅

Agree, I feel pretty much the same about this one. I'll sit on my shares and [my daughter likely] will wait till they either fizzle to zero or else somehow pay off.

A couple of side notes: I spoke with Chan at one point, and I felt then, and still feel that he's a straight-shooter that's doing his 'best' to turn this sleeper into something that ultimately will pay off at least somewhat for himself and his shareholders;

Also, as far as complaining about complainers (a phrase with a definite inherent hint of irony in itself), one of the reasons I check out the boards is to be amused and/or entertained in some way. I suppose it's also one of the reasons I do most things. Not only do I find it interesting to expose myself to the gnarly/seamy side of things, and the opinions of those that may disagree with me, I also find these a necessary consideration when it comes to maintaining a 'healthy' attitude. And if I may, I'll use the analogy of someone that follows only main-street-media to form an understanding of the world and the role America plays in geo-politics, and refuses to at least consider the viewpoint of the so-called 'truth-seekers' on what used to be called the dark web, but whom now amount to many tens of millions of followers, that look and understand things in a completely different fashion. In any case, this person MAY be doing themselves (and others??) a disservice.

In any case, probably likely to only visit here even more rarely from now on, however, I did want to say while there's still at least a few listening, that MCKVEE MADE ME LAUGH more than once, and I appreciate being amused. God-willing insh'Allah I'll be eighty years old next month, and there ain't a damn thing in the world around me that does me more good than laughter (especially as I watch my 'leaders' and my neighbors slow-walking America off the cliff).

Hang tough, youngsters, good luck here and in everything else and maybe most importantly, do your best to keep smilin'. Just sayin'. Cheers!!

I hear ya on the bonds. I almost went that direction a year ago. Iโ€™m waiting for NRGU to go below $300/share and buy back in. But with the election this year Iโ€™m standing firm. 2025 Iโ€™ll re-evaluate my investments.

I have a fair amount in 3 and 6 mo. CD's at 5+% returns on an annualized basis. Renewed them a couple of months ago. That's my hedge. Some still in bonds (yuck - I should have bailed out of those a long time ago), but the majority of my money is in stock equities. I keep about 4-5% of my money in cash. My f*ck around "roll the dice" money is stuff like ALRT, which admittedly has been a disaster. I did free up some roll the dice funds selling off AAPL and purchased NVDA at $85/share. It's done nicely, but so has AAPL since I sold it. Go figure.

Needless to say, I won't be rolling the dice with OTC's like ALRT ever again. After I get rid of the last 200K shares I own, it's all going back into winners. But that 94K shares I dumped the other day cost me few K. I tried an all-or-none sell on 295K shares at 0.016 - no bites. Dropped the price to 0.015 on a market trade and got a bite for 94K shares. I should just bite the bullet, set a limit price at 0.0125 on AON for the 200K shares left, and take my lumps. Should have done this a few years ago when I could have gotten my money back out of this deadbeat.

I still think Chan has a good product, but after 6 to 7 years of going nowhere with over $10K tied up in it, it's time to move on. Maybe there's still a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow, IDK. Don't want to wait any longer.

Thanks for posting lastone. Glad you are still with us.

I like the timeline Alr Technologies has given us. Yes, it has been delayed, but I still like it.

The delays have been frustrating but my guess is it's more frustrating for Mr. Chan, Joe Stern and the crew. The good news is soon we should be seeing results. Hopefully manufacturing delays are behind us. Looking forward to future updates.

You clearly have no understanding of diabetes much less the diabetes market. There is endless information, clinical studies, and KOL opinions (not to mention common sense) all stating how much better CGMs are then BGMs, nobody thinks BGMs are better except you apparently. The issue is cost, not CGMs. Diabetics already have tons of healthcare related expenses like doctor/hospital visits, insulin, and BGM testing supplies, they can't afford another $25-$300 a month depending on copay for CGMs. If ALRT is able to sell 2 CGMs (a month supply) at the same price as monthly BGM testing supplies they will easily take over the market. No government, insurer, HCP, or uninsured person is going to pay 5x-10x the price for a CGM from Abbott or Dexcom. Not to mention it opens up CGMs for the 530 million+ other diabetics not using Abbott or Dexcom. That is also just taking into account the hardware aspect, they have proven the value of their software as well.

Why do you think diabetics don't use CGMs? Because they enjoy pricking their fingers to draw blood to check glucose 3+ times a day? You don't think that is painful? You don't think you miss a ton of data checking 3+ times a day vs a CGM checking every 3-5 minutes for 14 days? So why do you think only 7 million out of 537 million diabetics are using CGMs?

The problem with ALRTF stock isn't ALRT, it's whiny shareholders who know nothing about the company or the market the company is in.

Market data mean nothing when you don't sell any. Just because there is a market for it doesn't mean people want our product.

Abbott - 6mil
Dexcom - 1.7mil (2022)

"Dexcom said it recorded another record year of new customer starts in 2022, bolstered by continued demand for its G6 continuous glucose monitor. The maker of diabetes devices added about 450,000 new users in 2022 for a total of 1.7 million customers globally, CEO Kevin Sayer said on an earnings call on Thursday."

With those number we'd be lucky with 20k users the first year

Joe acts like abbott is a competitor, that's laughable, I doubt Abbott is worried. With billions of dollars available to market they could only sell to 6mil people, that really means we don't have a chance. Where I live Abbott is one of the most known companies.

There are 537,000,000 diabetics in the world and you are worried about Abbott having 6 million users? The fact that Abbott only has a 1% of the market share and they are the leading CGM manufacturer (with only one competitor, Dexcom) tells me there is something desperately wrong with how they are selling CGMs. The ALRT investor presentation on their website says on page 13 the biggest barrier is cost so ALRT is making an ultra low cost CGM paired with their diabetes software. Makes complete sense to me.

Not to mention just 5 minutes of research on diabetes and CGMs will turn up a ton of diabetic message boards and forums talking about the problem of cost and copays, and that is just here in the US and Europe. It's much worse elsewhere.

Joe Stern's REPLY: Abbot's FDA clearance for the Libre Rio and Libre Lingo are of no concern to us, as outlined in our investor deck we are not following their business plan of selling high margin CGMs (high cost) to a small number of diabetic patients. We are developing an ultra-low-cost model that will have lower margins but be accessible to hundreds of millions of diabetics around the world. Much more will be announced in the future but right now we are not prepared to outline all the details so a would-be competitor could try and copy or compete with our plan. Another thing human CGMs dont have is a diabetes management platform like the ALRT Diabetes Solution which will be what our CGMs work on. As noted in a recent PR, we have continually shown in multiple studies a significant reduction in A1C and received great reviews from those participating.

As I previously communicated in our conversation last month, we are not going to put our press releases until material events occur which we expect to be over the coming months as we go back to market with the new all in one version from our new manufacturer. We have already outlined what we are doing in launching the GluCurve in Canada and then in the US and EU through Covetrus followed by the rest of the world. We have also outlined we are working on an ultra-low cost CGM for humans. These things take time, there is nothing anybody can do to speed up time.

Saw this article today

https://www.cnbc.com/2024/06/10/abbott-fda-approval-libre-rio-lingo-cgm-diabetes.html

In the article it states that Abbott currently has 6mil cgm users across 60 countries. That figure doesn't bode well for alrt since we aren't in any countries yet. If they average 100k per country then we'd be lucky to get 50k users

Ok, I still may be one of the earliest investors at 1999. Feeling as you do, SGolfer, the money is spent and no worries if I lose it all. The upside, I feel, is greater than the downside. Good luck to all, including those that have lost patience with Mr Chan. Hang in there! Better times just around the corner.

gopher - oh I get it. Toxic dilution was Airborne Wireless (ABWN), which I got caught up in. After that happened, I promised myself that I would stay the h3ll out of pennies, Obviously, I didn't listen and here I am! LOL

What's ALRTF worth? IDK. I guess we can look at their outstanding shares, public float, income statement, balance sheet, and all that good stuff. It's anyone's guess as to what the company is actually worth, but I can't say it's worth much. You're right about what makes the share price move, since there is no trade volume. While I continue to hold, it's not like I have much choice, eh? There's just no interest in this company beyond the few of us die-hard investors. We're all hoping that changes, obviously. Just continues to appear like that mirage of a water puddle on the highway that you never catch up to! GLTUA!

McKvee: I mistakenly stated 1995; it was 2005, when I learned of ALR Technologies and embarked upon this investing journey. I have no regrets ... more than once I have had an opportunity to profit and chose to wait. I truly believe I will be rewarded for my patient attitude. On the flip side, you talk out of both sides of your mouth; you are negative and have stated the BEARISH icon, yet have chosen to add more stock and randomly comment mixed sentiments on this board ... almost in a bi-polar way! I could care less what you personally do. My net return at .50 would be over $900,000.00 ... so, if you divide 20 years into that figure, I feel I would have been handsomely rewarded! I will encourage those that believe in Mr Chan and his company to hold their faith and believe their day is closer than ever to arrival! For those that doubt, they can sell or spew their negative ... but, it will not change my eventual outcome one measure. I feel sorry for those that read your posts and actually deem them as credible; hopefully, they see thru your ruse and will discount you as I have!

Cheers brother!! Considering all the stupid investments I've made over the years, including the 'smart' one where Billy skee-daddled with our millions, the residual emotional toxic fallout from them is nothing compared to the one time I was [figuratively] kicked in the stomach by a woman who I truly believed shared my love and devotion. My point being, this is just money, and now that I'm almost eighty years old and have managed to amass more than I ever dreamed or likely spend, I find that it has become at times a sort of nagging burden rather than the happy-dance godsend I'd thought it would be while younger. Just sayin'...

I still add 10K share blocs of this now and then, cheaper these days than an OZ before it was legalized, and both expenditures may turn out to have been well worth it [smile], and it's all in trust for my kid in any case.

I enjoy checking in here now and then, and I must admit I thoroughly enjoy both the positive and the negative posts. Positive, pie-in-the-sky, Pollyanna or simply hopeful stuff is nice and often necessary for some folks and for certain moods, and the reality-based negative venting frustrated posts are also welcome, and I must confess I find the latter extremely satisfying personally. I'm glad the relatively rare number of people here that actually complain continue to persist in spite of all the folks triggered by their sentiments. For example, I see the benefits of believing, following and then sleep-walking into the nuclear WWIII that our %@#! gov't is slow-walking us into, and I also appreciate the non-MSM truth-seekers keeping us advised of how close to the actual brink we are heading.

Maybe it's due to being born and raised in Steeler Country (for the record, gave up the NFL, my only 'hobby', due to the KaeperDick anthem knee) where teasing and mockery of one's pals and brothers was the main pastime in Pittsburgh, not to be confused at all with picking on the weak, the worst sort of unacceptable behavior back there and back then, but rather to toughen us up for the shitty future that awaited us: being drafted and/or working in the steel mills, the only two choices, options or likelihoods for most of us. Cheerleaders are necessary and wonderful to maintain or pump up an attitude [and not just as a personal stable for the QBs and other BMOCampus, even us weirdos and uglies enjoy watching hotties jump around], and cynics provide the solid foundation for understanding reality and moving forward in life on a somewhat even keel. Historically, Cynics in gov't are the counterparts of Court Jesters, both sharing the main duty of keeping their leaders grounded in reality: "remember, thou art just a man" etc.

It takes courage and strength to stand tall in the face of enemy fire, and it takes more than one of the scriptural virtues to support and uplift one's fellow travelers through hard times. I know some of yinz by handle from other tickers, but I know all y'all from having hung out with yinz all generically one way or another in the past. Hang tough kids, keep the faith, and maybe most importantly, keep smilin'... Cheers!!
