HST, Inc. Offering Low Cost Calling Services to US Military and Civilian Contractors Deployed World Wide Homeland Security Technology, Inc. The service allows domestic and international customers to make calls using cell phones with international calling capability. Following online registration, calls are made over the USPowerCall(TM) network using a unique dialing method. Customers post pay their usage against a major credit card and all calls are itemized in an e-mailed monthly statement. USPowerCall(TM) is supported by 24/7 customer service. HST has also introduced a domestic US800 calling service and a domestic and international calling card which will allow $0.05 per minute long distance calling rates from any land line or cellular phone. "The website is up and running and customers can now register online. The system has been thoroughly tested and inaugural international calls have been sent and received. "Deployed personnel worldwide are now able to log in and use this program to talk directly to their families back in the United States via cellular telephones." HST, Inc. also announced today that the company is already working on an expansion of the program which will introduce Voice Over IP (VoIP) technology for those areas where cellular telephones are unavailable or their use is restricted by military policy governing operational security. Customers will be able to make voice calls using the internet. Wilson said the company is working with a local manufacturer to supply equipment needed for VoIP calls and will offer the equipment when customers buy 500 or more VoIP minutes. HST Inc. has partnered with Telenational Communications Inc. of Omaha, Neb., to be able to offer rates in some cases up to 75 % lower than current established rates for international calls from cellular phones.
