Regulation FD Disclosure.
|
On March 5, 2020, Arch Coal, Inc. (the “Company”)
issued a press release announcing its entry into an equipment financing facility as described in Item 8.01 below. A copy of the
press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
The information contained in Item 7.01 and the exhibit attached
hereto, shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the
“Exchange Act”), or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that section, nor shall it be deemed incorporated by reference
in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended or the Exchange Act, except as shall be expressly set forth by specific
reference in such a filing.
On March 4, 2020, the Company entered into a $54 million equipment
financing facility with an average interest rate of 6.3%. The facility amortizes over a period of four years and is tied to the
equipment fleet at the Leer mining complex in Taylor County, West Virginia.
