/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Acrex Ventures Ltd. ("Acrex") is pleased
to announce that it has signed an agreement with Abitibi Geophysics
of Val d'Or Quebec to complete an Induced Polarization (IP) survey
on its optioned Don's Lake mineral property. The survey will
involve completing 18 line kilometres of geophysical coverage on
100 metre spaced lines along the 7 km - long Don's Lake Shear Zone
(DLSZ). The DLSZ has been shown by litho-geochemistry to be
prospective for gold and uranium mineralization. Previous
exploration on the Don's Lake property has included VLF-EM and
magnetometer surveys, geological mapping, litho-geochemistry,
prospecting, and 20 diamond drill holes. Eight of the drill holes
intersected the prospective shear zone. Among these eight holes,
three holes intersected good gold grades within the DLSZ. These are
DL 04-04 with 0.36 oz Au per tonne over 3.3 feet, hole Bam 88-12
with 0.566 oz Au per tonne over 3.6 feet and hole Fry-1 with 0.605
oz. Au per tonne over 0.4 feet. In 1978 trenching by
Urangesellschaft returned an assay of 0.136% U(3)O(8) and 0.117
oz/t gold across 6.6 feet from a trench located along the south
side of the DLSZ. The geophysical program will commence in early
July and is expected to be completed by the end of July. It is
anticipated that the survey will define targets for diamond drill
testing later in the year. ACREX VENTURES LTD. Per: T.J. Malcolm
