--Bank of China and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China are among the companies mulling a potential purchase of DZ Bank subsidiary DVB Bank SE, Reuters reports, citing unnamed sources.

--DZ Bank is moving ahead with plans to sell German transport-finance lender DVB, according to Reuters, and one unnamed source said the Chinese banks are expected to present their initial proposals this month.

--Carlyle Group and Apollo Global Management are also interested in DVB, Reuters reports.
