LONDON--TP Group PLC (TPG.LN) said Tuesday it has been awarded a contract with BAE Systems Marine Ltd. for 5.3 million pounds ($6.5 million).

The specialist services and engineering group said the contract commences immediately and will be delivered over the next two years by the group's engineering team in Portsmouth.

TP Group shares at 1032 GMT up 1 pence, or 14.3%, at 5 pence, valuing the company at GBP21.1 million.
