BioCentric Energy Provides Shareholder Update
June 17 2010 - 9:00AM
BioCentric Energy (Pink Sheets:BEHL) is pleased to announce the
following Shareholder Update.
According to BioCentric Energy's President, Monique Berry:
- The Company is proud to reveal that the first commercial site
is located in Death Valley Junction, California. BioCentric
Energy's Founder and Chairman of the Board, Dennis Fisher returned
yesterday from overseeing the final excavation and grading of the
land. New roads have been made around the property and waterlines
and fences will be installed by the end of the week. The BioCentric
Energy staff will be in Death Valley Junction next week to help
install the liners that create the CAB (controlled algae basin)
that will subsequently house the closed-loop photobioreactor
systems. Through the efforts of the Company and its premier client,
the historical Death Valley Junction (A Resurrection Farm),
will not only produce mass quantities of algae for nutraceutical
products (such as Desert Valley Farms LLC, a NV limited liability
company), but it will be a part of American history restored. The
Company has several clients now interested in deploying PBR systems
in Death Valley Junction to produce their own private label
nutraceutical products.
- In BioCentric Energy's staff meeting yesterday, R&D
Manager, Helmut Gass showed the team samples of algae that had been
visibly separated from water through his proprietary electrolysis
system. Mr. Gass has been working diligently to fine-tune the
separation process as he explained to all, "Within only 10 seconds
I was able to separate a quart of algae sludge from the water. I am
very pleased with the results thus far and will be testing large
quantities of algae and different strains in the next few weeks."
- The Company has placed an order for 13+ miles of highly robust
plastic tubing that will be used at the Death Valley Junction
location. This plastic is a proprietary blend of materials
constructed to withstand the high temperatures in Death Valley
Junction and other locations. Also, this plastic will serve as a
replacement for the plastic tubes in the Company's commercial demo
system located in Santa Ana, California.
- Following the submission of the business plan for the state of
Utah, BioCentric Energy will be writing similar plans in the next
few weeks targeting states in need of new industries and employment
opportunities.
