LOS ANGELES, Oct. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Verde Media
Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VMGI) announces it has signed on as
the headline sponsor for the Northeastern
University Rugby team alumni weekend golf tournament and
alumni game. Additionally, the final film shoot for its
documentary production on the history of the Rugby program will
take place at the event this weekend.
The VMGI production arm was hired by Northeastern University to produce a documentary
film on the history of its Rugby program as it qualified for the
CRC 7s championship for the first time in the history of the
program. Verde Media was on hand to film the team at the
tournament in June and will be following up with interviews of star
alumni players this weekend. These interviews and subsequent
sponsorship of the alumni weekend will mark the final chapter for
production of the piece.
William Veve, President of Verde
Media Group, Inc., stated, "We're excited to be a part of
Northeastern's success and contribute
to its legacy in the annals of athleticism at the University.
It's a great program and they've seen real success on the field and
within the University as one of the best endowed club sports and
we're happy to sponsor the event that all of this has lead to."
