FTSE Group said Wednesday African Barrick Gold PLC (ABG.LN) and Essar Energy PLC (ESSR.LN) are to join the FTSE 100, and Thomas Cook Group (TCG.LN) and London Stock Exchange Group (LSE.LN) will leave the index and join the FTSE 250 Index.

-The changes are part of FTSE's U.K. Index Series annual review.

-Inclusions to the FTSE 250 Index are Thomas Cook Group, London Stock Exchange Group, Centamin Egypt Ltd. (CEE.T), BH Macro Ltd. (BHMG.LN), SuperGroup PLC (SGP.LN), Fidelity China Special Solutions PLC (FCSS.LN), CPP Group PLC (CPP.LN), JD Sports Fashion PLC (JD.LN), Promethean World PLC (PRW.LN).

-Exclusions from the FTSE 250 Index are JP Morgan Japanese Investment Trust PLC (JFJ.LN), Trinity Mirror PLC (TNI.LN), HMV Group PLC (HMV.LN), F&C Asset Management PLC (FCAM.LN), Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC (DIG.LN), Ecofin Water and Power Opportunities PLC (ECWO.LN), Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC (BRW.LN), Melrose Resources PLC (MRS.LN)

-All changes from this review will be implemented at the close of business June 18 and will take effect from the start of trading on June 21.
