Airbus Booked 91 Net Orders, Delivered 84 Jets In Jan-Feb

Airbus delivered 84 aircraft and booked 91 net orders in the
first two months of 2012.
The plane manufacturer delivered 47 aircraft in February and
booked an order of six A350-900 jets from Hong Kong-based Cathay
Pacific Airways Ltd. (0293.HK). Airlines canceled six orders in the
month.
Airbus is a unit of European Aeronautic Defence & Space Co.
NV (EAD.FR).
The Franco-German aero-defense giant Thursday said net profit in
the three months to Dec. 31 rose to EUR612 million from EUR355
million a year earlier, surpassing analysts' expectations, mainly
due to a foreign exchange gain. It said its order book is currently
worth more than EUR500 billion.
