Initial Contract Valued at $100,000 with Potential for $1 Million
In Additional Revenue for 2005 Defense Technology Systems
(OTCBB:DFTS) announced today that its newly acquired DCI
subsidiary, has been awarded an initial order by a German
integrator for $100,000 to design, engineer and develop a server
for use in a French military armored personnel carrier (APC). The
servers are currently undergoing evaluation by the end-user which
may lead to a follow-on production order for an additional 90 units
for delivery in late 2005. The follow-on contract value is
projected to be $1 million. Daniel McPhee, CEO of Defense
Technology Systems, said, "We are please about this acquisition for
the company and our shareholders. We anticipate that this order
will represent the first of many exciting opportunities. Most of
the revenue of this initial order will be recognized in the current
