The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) has named Digitiliti, Inc. (OTC: DIGI), the leader in Intelligent Information Management and Compliance solutions for small to midsized enterprises, as a finalist in the IT Software & Hardware, Communications and Infrastructure category for the 2010 Tekne Awards, which will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Wednesday, Nov. 3. The Tekne Awards recognize Minnesota companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.

Finalists for this award have shown great success on software and hardware, networking, communications and wireless equipment and products. Digitiliti is being recognized for its DigiLIBE™, which solves fundamental problems associated with managing, controlling, securing, accessing and using unstructured data. DigiLIBE provides an integrated Virtual Corporate Library (VCL) with policy-based controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of unstructured data from its point of origin to final disposition. Businesses now have the ability to securely mine the knowledge buried within their unstructured data.

DigiLIBE addresses information growth across all points of an organization including office files, email, images, primary, secondary, offsite, and active archives. As a single architecture comprised of three simple components – information director, archive information store, and client agents – DigiLIBE reduces the number of disparate IT products needed, and the complexity and costs involved with managing and supporting information growth.

“We are tremendously honored for being recognized among the best in technology offerings among Minnesota firms and look forward to the Tekne Awards annual ceremony,” said Ken Peters, Executive Vice President of Digitiliti. “DigiLIBE helps companies easily unlock the value of corporate data and transform it into information that can help them make better decisions faster and easier than ever before. Improved information management and operation business intelligence can be achieved by reducing storage costs and risk of losing business-critical information while extracting more value out of the content your organization creates daily.”

Presented by the MHTA in partnership with the BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota, LifeScience Alley, Enterprise Minnesota, the Tekne Awards annually recognize Minnesota’s best and brightest technology users and developers in innovation, development, education, commercialization and management. A full list of finalists is available online at http://www.tekneawards.org.

“The Tekne Awards recognize those whose leadership and dedication to technological development helps demonstrate Minnesota as a global player in technology-based markets,” said MaryFrances Schurb, interim president of MHTA. “This year’s finalists should be extremely proud of their role in helping Minnesota excel.”

Recipients of the 2010 Tekne Awards will be announced at the award ceremony on Nov. 3. The event will begin with a VIP registration & reception at 4:30 p.m., followed by general registration and cocktails at 5 p.m., dinner at 5:45 p.m., the awards celebration at 7 p.m., and a post-Tekne party at 8:30 p.m. The event will be emceed by Paul Douglas, author, entrepreneur and meteorologist.
