Deltron, Inc (OTCBB: DTRO) announced earlier today that they are developing innovative rebreather equipment to aid in preventing and containing offshore oil spills.

As the oil spill crisis in the Gulf of Mexico continues to make national headlines, Deltron subsidiary Blu Vu is working on ways to increase the effectiveness of deep sea divers involved in oil spill containment by making equipment more reliable and effective in the extreme environments. Shallow-water rigs have traditionally employed human divers to install and repair equipment under water, due to the length of time the divers must stay below the surface, rebreathers are used to maximize oxygen consumption and allow the divers to work in what would regularly be inhospitable conditions.
