Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers

The registrant, ERF Wireless, Inc. is referred to herein as "we", "our" or "us".

On September 23, 2015, we received and accepted the resignation of Richard R. Royall as Director of ERF Wireless, Inc. Mr. Royall had served as a Director since March 2008.  Mr. Royall stated that he was resigning for personal reasons and that he does not have any disagreement with the company's accounting practices, policies, or procedures.
