SAINT PAUL, Minn., Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- General Finance
and Development, Inc. (GFD) (Other: GFDV) announced today that the
company's subsidiary Corporate Art Force has recently secured
master services agreements or purchase orders that have contributed
to a 32 percent increase in sales orders over the same period in
2010. GFD has experienced a string of three straight quarters of
profitability.
Over the past several months CAF has developed a "SmartArt"
Program designed for large corporate clients. Many are included in
the Fortune 500 list. The SmartArt Program includes appraising the
existing art inventory, making recommendations on resale and reuse,
and creating a new standardized art program integrating the full
capabilities of CAF.
CAF has a network of over 1,000 artists whose creations are
reviewed by the company's art selection committee for approval. The
art consultants have extensive backgrounds in the industry and
participate in the company's proprietary Art Consultant
Certification Program. CAF's production and installation team has
completed, shipped and installed over 12,000 pieces of artwork to
more than 100 clients in 40 states.
CAF is developing a healthcare division that integrates evidence
based design research and artwork selection and placement. The
research suggests that utilized properly, artwork can improve
patient outcomes in addition to contributing to overall well being
and improved productivity of healthcare staff. The new healthcare
division is scheduled to be fully operational by year-end.
CAF has developed a model that can be replicated in other
cities. Final preparations are being completed to add staff to
represent CAF in Chicago during
the fourth quarter of 2011, and the search and site selection for a
branch office location during the first quarter of 2012.
Corporate Art Force provides
turnkey art procurement services to corporate clients nationwide.
The company specializes in brand alignment, helping corporations
large and small select visual elements and artwork that perfectly
aligns with their key messages to targeted audiences. CAF's art
fulfillment capabilities provide the standardized logistical
process needed to select, procure, frame, ship and install artwork
worldwide. CAF uses its position as a national leader to deliver
cost efficiencies on all of the above with the best pricing by
leveraging the expertise of best practices, volume buying and
economies of scale in production.
