Augrid Corporation's Carbon Composite Technologies (CCT) subsidiary
is pleased to announce its proprietary fiber architectures, which
complement its resistive and inductive heating technology to
produce fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) and concrete parts.
Those products are manufactured more cost effectively based
on lower tooling costs, faster through put speed, and better degree
of cure and less energy consumption with the ability in
post-production for radiant heating for warmth or de-icing.
The proprietary fiber architectures include Stitch Bonded Fabric
with carbon filaments strategically placed to add reinforcement and
resistive heating capability in the production of most Fiber
Reinforced Plastic (FRP) products; Continuous Loop Carbon Filaments
produced by warp knit method for ease of creating electrical
circuits in fabrics for concrete cure and de-icing; and Resin/ Nano
Matrices impregnated into light-weight, high-density fiberglass to
add structure and light-weight for use in Wind Turbine Blades,
Automotive, Airline Fuselages and Concrete for cure enhancements
and de-icing.
