KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia--Genting Malaysia Bhd.'s (4715.KU) resort unit will spend 400 million ringgit ($125 million) renovating and renaming its Genting Highlands location into the first Twentieth Century Fox theme park.

The Genting Highlands park about 60 kilometers north of Kuala Lumpur will be closed in September for construction that is expected to be completed in 2016, a joint statement from the two companies said.
