Henkel AG said Monday that it has appointed Mark Dorn as executive vice president and member of the management board responsible for its adhesive technologies unit.

Mr. Dorn, 49, is currently senior vice president with responsibility for the adhesive technologies business in the Asia-Pacific region and succeeds Jan-Dirk Auris, who will leave the company at the end of January, the German consumer-goods company said.
