Kahzam Names Jim Lindsey Vice Chairman

Kahzam (OTCBB: KHZM) – an emerging leader in the fast-growing
web-based platform developer market for associations and affinity
groups – has named Jim Lindsey as Vice Chairman and Chief New
Business Officer of the company. Jim Lindsey has more than thirty
years of managerial, creative, and account supervision experience
with bottom line responsibilities for international, national, and
regional advertising agencies including McCaffrey & McCall,
Lindsey Bradley & Maloy, Hill Holiday, and Fairfax/Saatchi
& Saatchi and Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, where he served
as Vice Chairman.
Working closely with Lindsey’s new-business development efforts,
Kahzam is building a comprehensive platform of next-generation
online search and portal services, targeted for the $30 billion
dollar Association and Affinity Group market. The Kahzam platform
features fully integrated multimedia content, social networking,
e-commerce and advertising that can be customized to meet the
diverse needs of individual Associations, Affinity Groups and other
similar organizations, as well as their millions of individual
members. By doing so, Kahzam will meet associations’ greatest two
needs – enhancing member services without raising dues, and
generating additional revenue, again without raising dues.
To accomplish this market penetration under Lindsey’s
leadership, Kahzam has developed a portal-based next-generation
search engine, which is the core of a package of web-based Social
Networking and Portal services Kahzam is offering to business and
trade associations, not-for-profit foundations, social and
charitable non-profits and other groups dependent on the continued
support and goodwill of members or close-knit networks of
donors.
Lindsey built a career in the advertising field that made use of
his incredible interpersonal skills to build books of business for
some of the leading firms in the industry. As Vice Chairman of
Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, Lindsey significantly influenced
and directed corporate development, specializing in West Coast and
Pacific Rim clients. He also served as Executive Vice President of
Hill, Holliday and Wakeman & DeForrest’s West Coast
operations.
In addition, he has been responsible for national and
international agency operations involving business development,
marketing, advertising, and strategic planning for worldwide
clients including MGM/Orion Films, Sears, Marriott Resorts,
Mercedes Benz, DeBeers, Int., T. Rowe Price, Geneva Corporation,
Infinity, MONEX plus Epson Computer and Printer Products. Other
notable clients included Jenny Craig, Shaw Industries, White
Westinghouse, PacTel Communications, Vartech, RCA, Sears,
Mayflower, McDonalds, Carls Jr. and Falcon Jets.
His work with MGM/United Artists and Orion Films plus other
independent producers includes movies such as Rain Man, The Big
Easy, Betrayed, Stuntman, Dances With Wolves, Driving Miss Daisy,
Porkeys I and II, Silence of the Lambs, Childs Play, Road House,
Love at First Bite, three James Bond releases, The Witness and My
Bodyguard. While Executive Producer of Metromedia Producers Group,
he also created and produced primetime specials and network series
releases.
Returning to his native South, Lindsey joined with Frank
Bradley, Kahzam’s CEO and President, to create LB&M, a
full-service agency specializing in high-tech and start-up
businesses. In mid-decade, LB&M became LBK Holdings, a firm
specializing in branding and strategic planning for start-up high
technology companies, with Lindsey serving as managing general
partner. One of LBK’s clients was Kahzam – a subsidiary of
groupmolinari of Boca Raton, Florida – and CEO Stephen
Molinari was so impressed with LBK Holdings that he, in essence,
bought the company and put Lindsey in charge of executing on LBK’s
strategic business development recommendations for Kahzam, and to
help take Kahzam public – which he did earlier this summer.
Lindsey has been honored with more than 50 Addy Awards, Clio
Awards, and Golden Quill Awards. In addition, he has managed
hundreds of millions of dollars of advertising contracts with
advertisers around the world. These positive relationships are the
foundation for Kahzam’s new business development needs.
With Lindsey’s market-driven input, Kahzam is currently
beta-piloting its proprietary portal, search engine and
closed-panel Social Networking services in final preparation for a
formal program launch early in 2010.
