Dragon Polymers, Inc. (PINKSHEETS:DRAG) is currently studying the feasibility of using Geophysics to help recover the estimated 40,000,000 lbs. of nylon 66 fiber and purge buried at the Greenwood, South Carolina landfill site. We are currently working with Ecole Polytechnic de Montreal's Geophysics department to determine which technology Electrical Resistivity Tomography or Ground Penetrating Radar would be better suited to help located the nylon deposits located at the 20 acre site.

In geophysics, electrical resistivity tomography uses electrodes on the surface of the earth or in bore holes to locate resistivity anomalies, and in industrial process monitoring the arrays of electrodes are for instance use to monitor mixtures of conductive fluids in vessels or pipes. This method is used in Industrial Process Imaging for imaging conductive fluids.

Ground-penetrating radar (GPR) is a geophysical method that uses radar pulses to image the subsurface. This nondestructive method uses electromagnetic radiation in the microwave band (UHF/VHF frequencies) of the radio spectrum, and detects the reflected signals from subsurface structures. GPR can be used in a variety of media, including rock, soil, ice, fresh water, pavements and structures. It can detect objects, changes in material, and voids and cracks.

ABOUT THE COMPANY: Dragon Polymers Inc. is reseller industrial polymers, we have been able to identify a worldwide shortage in certain types of polymers, and specifically petroleum based polymers. As a result of this the company is focusing its efforts in the reclamation of polymers, specifically Polyethylene Terephthalate and commercial grade Nylon6,6 waste.
