- LEEP to provide patented structural insulated panels, engineering
and manufacturing expertise - MONTOURSVILLE, Pa., Jan. 8
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LEEP, Inc. (Pink Sheets: LPPI.PK),
announced that the company has received an initial order from Quick
Quarters Kentucky, Inc., for its patented LeepCore(TM) structural
insulated (R-25) panels, to build five mail screening facilities in
Quick Quarters' Kentucky-based manufacturing plant. The completed
units will be shipped overseas to five Government locations to
screen incoming mail for potential safety hazards. Production will
begin in January and completed units are expected to ship during
the first quarter of 2008 with additional follow-on orders expected
in 2008. John Nordstrom, CEO of LEEP, Inc. said, "We are extremely
pleased to be able to bring this first order with Quick Quarters to
reality. We have been working on this and other specific,
identified opportunities in conjunction with Quick Quarters since
mid-2007, and feel this first step will be a catalyst to generating
more business for both companies in both the near and longer term
future. LEEP, Inc. re-engineered the mail screening facilities to
be constructed of LeepCore(TM), which will provide a stronger,
better insulated, and lighter weight facility than was previously
used by the customer, that can be used world-wide. The integration
of LeepCore(TM) for this use is a significant milestone, as it will
give our product additional exposure for a multitude of both
government and private sector uses. We are very enthused about the
potential for this type of use for LeepCore(TM) panels." LEEP, Inc.
will also manage and oversee construction of the units, utilizing
the physical plant in Kentucky. About LEEP, Inc. LEEP, Inc. (Pink
