LeepCore(TM) panels comply with revised 2007 certification
requirements MONTOURSVILLE, Pa., Jan. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
LEEP, Inc. (Pink Sheets: LPPI) said today that its patented
LeepCore(TM) Structural Insulated Panel had passed a critical
review of the panel's performance criteria in the State of Florida.
The review by a certified professional engineering firm licensed in
the State of Florida certified " ... that the components
manufactured in accordance with this report comply with the
applicable sections of the following Code(s) and Standard(s):
Florida Building Code 2004 with 2006 and 2007 supplements." The
report adds that the panels are certified for exterior and internal
walls, floors and roofs. These data are being submitted to the
State of Florida by LEEP, Inc. to obtain a current product approval
code for construction in the State of Florida. John Nordstrom, CEO,
said, "This product certification by a respected, professional
licensed engineering firm in the State of Florida is important to
us because, without this certification, we would be unable to
accept additional orders for a variety of construction projects in
Florida, including additional school classroom buildings and
manufactured modular housing." LeepCore(TM) panels have already
been used to construct five school classroom buildings near
Jacksonville, Florida in 2005 under previous certifications, which
had since lapsed. The school classrooms built using LeepCore(TM) in
2005 have received very positive reviews from teachers, students
and administrators in Baker County, especially in terms of
substantially lower energy costs, maintenance costs, and improved
sound insulation between classrooms. Just as important, classroom
buildings are ready for occupancy in a fraction of the time
compared to traditional construction methods. For more information
