LEEP, Inc. (Pink Sheets: LPPI) received orders to manufacture a total of fifteen specialized, insulated screening facilities to be used at various United States Embassy and Consulate locations around the world. The facilities on these orders are very similar in design to the buildings announced on December 1, 2009 and will be used by the government for the same type of security purposes.

Screening Facilities Background: The buildings (aka facilities) are constructed of the company’s patented LeepCore™ structural insulated panel, which is used for all walls, floors, and roofs. These structures, as part of the U.S. Government’s counter-terrorism initiatives, will be used to screen incoming mail for bio-terroristic agents, such as anthrax and other chemical agents, as well as potential explosive devices, before inspected mail is allowed into American occupied embassies or other government buildings in foreign countries.

A spokesperson for the company stated, “The Department of State is pleased with our product and delivery capabilities and the company expects more orders in the near term. While this market segment continues to grow, management is also committed to an expanding role in supplying the needs of a variety of government agencies. The versatility of LeepCore™, coupled with the attractive strength to weight characteristics inherent in the panel, make the company a strong competitor for supplying high quality solutions for a variety of government applications.”
