LEEP, Inc. (OTCPK:LPPI) announced that it has received and fulfilled a purchase order for use by an icon in the U.S. automobile industry. The purchase order, for two structures integral to the General Motors assembly process, represents the initial penetration into this industry for LEEP, Inc.

A customer spokesperson indicated, “The incorporation of LeepCoreTM structural panels into the designs for these two buildings was extremely straightforward. The LeepCoreTM Kit Buildings delivered to our Detroit facility were ready to construct. These two buildings provide strong and secure enclosures for housing active processes critical to General Motors’ manufacturing capabilities.”

He added, “We chose the LeepCoreTM panels to build these facilities because of the savings we anticipated, both in material fabrication cost and time. Those savings were not only realized, but exceeded. As a result of the smooth facility assembly and savings realized, we look forward to additional use of LeepCoreTM panels for forthcoming applications.”

A spokesperson from LEEP, Inc. stated, “The structural integrity and durability of the LeepCoreTM panels played a significant role in the selection of LEEP, Inc. to supply these buildings. We provided multiple samples of the LeepCoreTM panel to the customer, who subjected them to rigorous testing at their own facilities prior to selecting LeepCoreTM for this project. We are extremely pleased this initial project has established LeepCoreTM as a suitable high quality product for these applications, as well as provided the cost and time savings our customer desired. We look forward to additional projects for this customer and other customers in the automotive industry.”
