The Board of Directors of Monarch Gulf Exploration, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MGFX) announces the departure of Board member Charles Couch and the appointment of new Board Member Albert O. Grant II Esq. The Board of Directors of Monarch Gulf Exploration, Inc. has accepted the resignation of Board Member Charles Couch. The company would like to thank him for his services and intends to retain Mr. Couch as a Senior Consultant to the company on a case by case basis in future oil exploration projects. Albert O. Grant II Esq. age 59, has agreed to join the Board of Directors of the Company. Grant has many years of experience in both domestic and international corporate and trade law. In 1971 Grant was admitted to law practice in the State of New Jersey and the Federal District Court of New Jersey, and in 1976 in the State of New York and the United States Supreme Court. Grant has represented clients in establishing international subsidiary operations, joint ventures, partnerships, and assisted several non-US entities with their business activities in the United States. The company believes that Mr. Grant's experience and field of expertise will constitute a welcome addition to the Board of Directors and is looking forward to working with him.
