BUDAPEST--Hungarian oil company MOL Nyrt. (MOL.BU) Tuesday reported a fire in a bitumen tank at its Zalaegerszeg refinery in western Hungary.

The incident caused no injuries or damage to the environment, and local staff and firefighters had extinguished the flames, MOL said in a brief statement.

The fire is the second such incident within five weeks. A May 18 explosion at a bitumen tank at Zalaegerszeg caused the company an estimated 10 million forints ($40,000) in damages.

The company said it was starting an investigation into the cause of Tuesday's fire.
