BUDAPEST--Croatian refiner INA-Industrija Nafte d.d. (INA.ZG), a unit of Hungary's MOL Nyrt (MOL.BU), may be forced to sell its chain of Tifon gas stations in Croatia to comply with local competition law, Croatian news portal Poslovni Dnevnik reported Wednesday.

INA submitted its bid for Austrian oil and gas company OMV AG's (OMV.VI) local retail network, but the paper says it might not be able to keep its network of Tifon filling stations as that would represent an overly high market share.

KBC Securities analyst Peter Csaszar noted on Thursday however that INA wouldn't likely sell Tifon as a whole, selling only some Tifon and INA stations in less frequented locations.
