Yeah, to heck with rehashing the evil of WWII - RIP to that guy, too, right?

Sorry, but now that you have been proven wrong, you can't just ignore it and what that SOB did to you and others. The lying and stealing needs to be called out, period. What he and PT did together was evil and even criminal, plain and simple. Ignoring it does nothing except assuage your feelings, I suppose. But it certainly doesn't help people recognize the scam they fell for and learn from their mistakes.

Too bad, but I won't let people forget. Even if PT and his enablers get charged with securities fraud and go to prison, which is really something that should happen.

Bravery has nothing to do with the barking dog. The dog was only voicing his opinion regarding the stupidity of the lion's death which was the result of his overwhelming avarice.

gitreal gitreal 2 weeks ago
Not sure I understand the analogy. The "lion" is PT? Someone who lied and deceived investors for a decade? Who pushed (and crossed) the limits of legality the entire time? Who supported an extended family off the retirement funds of investors? Who has never apologized for squandering 10's of millions of dollars? And while the company was in its dying days, he was puttering around in his shop welding a barge together instead of mining that million ounce Santa Elena gold deposit? That guy's the lion?

Or maybe you mean MXSG is the "lion"? Yeah, it's dead, good riddance. But the enablers and promoters are still out there (minus one). They're awful quiet these days.

Except that Dog has been barking at that wicked lion for a very long time, long before it died. Even when the stupid hyenas laughed at him and not only said the Lion was the King, but would live forever.

Smart dog. Stupid hyenas have lost all their money. They should have listened to the dog all along.

Well, it's safe to assume some of the mexus money is tied up in Sister Shelle which is finally headed to Nome. Wildcat mining (PT) released a video about the history of cable recovery and the launching of the pirate barge. Not sure if they are dredging or snapping cables but we all know how it will end.

You may well be correct, that there were a few (could we call them the very silent minority) who profitted from a MXSG investment. I just never encountered them which isn't to say they didn't exist. It's just that the most vocal of the group were the inveterant losers whose voice drowned out all others.

PS......and don't underestimate the entire group of Mexus investors. They're not all just investing with their "chance money". Some of them actually knew how to look up Mexus financials on the SEC website, and could understand them. Unlike our "chance money" friend, the fake engineer.

I am sure that a few folks came out ahead with their Mexus investments and were long gone by the time things began to crater. But not many......

Where did all the money go?
👍️0
gitreal gitreal 3 weeks ago
Well, I won't name names, but it wasn't folks that ever (or maybe rarely?) posted on the Mexus Ihub board. I respected them from conversations on other boards, they seemed knowledgeable and perceptive yet invested in Mexus because of one thing - the guru's supposed amazing track record with mining stocks. Go figure, even smart people can be conned!

Maybe they felt that Don's connections to PT and the insider info he was being fed (before that relationship fell apart) was enough to ride his coattails? Money can be made off of scams, if you have enough insider info (like when blocks of shares are about to be dumped, and when PRs are about to be issued). And what a PR will say before other investors. Or when a RS is about to be enacted. Knowing things like that ahead of time can lead to very lucrative stock trading.

DD to common investors is reading social media posts, PRs and maybe financials.....DD to investors using insider info is getting a tip just before something significant happens. Not that it ever happened with Mexus, oh no......of course not.

I would really like to know, what in your mind, qualifies one as a "sharp cookie" ? How long did it take for aforesaid "sharp cookies" to determine that they were being had ? If called upon to name one "sharp cookie" who was a dedicated MXSG investor, I am at a loss. What "sharp cookie" takes the advice of someone they encounter on an investment board ? -That isn't to say your perception is wrong, it is just beyond my experience. Could you name one "sharp cookie" and their field of expertise ? Better yet, name one investing "sharp cookie" or not who benifited from an MXSG investment.
The so called "DD" would prevent anyone with just a smattering of brain matter from investing in a one man (a ditch digger no less) gold recovery operation. Or does being a member of the intelligentsia preclude doing basic investigation into an intended investment ?

gitreal gitreal 3 weeks ago
Some pretty sharp cookies here on Ihub have told me that they invested in Mexus solely because of Don and his track record of "picking mining winners".

I have always suspected that his success with GORO was not so much his mining savviness.....but more just sheer luck. Or, given his shenanigans with Mexus, possibly some insider info that he traded on. And it was always kind of nutty when he would compare Mexus to GORO......like night and day. GORO had many tens of thousands of feet of drilling when Don invested. On the other hand, Mexus had almost no drilling and the little bit that Argo did, and then Mexus.....horrible results. And the data was manipulated by Mexus in a fraudulent manner and presented to investors as evidence of a million ounce deposit. That is what initially attracted my attention to Mexus....it was so blatant.

Why people would keep listening to him, I just can't fathom. Except that people like him are pretty convincing in person....I have run into people like throughout my career, and I understand how through sheer force of personality, they win people over.

Those filthy rats surely will be prosecuted one day. There are those who say you should not speak ill of the dead. But I really want to speak ill of that dead Mother F... Goon Philips. What a complete utter low life waste of garbage of a human being. I defended him for years and then got nothing but scorn back. Then I realized, he was no guru. Just a clown who had gotten lucky and scored big a few times. I think I have had more 10-baggers than he ever did, despite being half his age. And I am not a good investor. He, however, claimed himself to be a near "mining legend". A real humble joke of a man. He said he managed portfolios of several people where he said Mexus was a part of. So...those people are most likely suffering the outcome of that for the rest of their lives. Unless he lied about that too. He had a warped view of the world. Luckily, he is in a much warmer place now.

well, when you consider Deb's original e-mail, and my responding question to PT, it should become clearer:

Here's Deb's e-mail:
MEXUS GOLD [mexusgoldus@gmail.com]

Fri 7/10/2020 8:32 PM

"I was hoping we would never do this again, but first let me say our gold sale is good. it is taking care of the mine real good we just got hit with a couple of bills that was lot larger then we thought like year end audit they want paid about 25,000 before they will sign off then we have cat haul truck which we need to get imported to the mine and thats going to be about 13,000 with hauling and everything but we need it down there bad we have the one volve but its getting old this way with will have 2 going and we can do lot more. I'm sure we have most of the audit payed everybody will be very happy when this audit gets out I can do a real good deal on stock. If you can't I understand you have done alot for Mexus, and things are getting better all the time.
Thank you
Debbie"
[below (from memory) is the gist of my response. I added a little sarcasm just to clarify what the hell I was asking]

Deb: Please ask your dad why did you contact me (and me alone) for help in financing the "audit", I whom you know have become rather angry and fed up with mxsg shenanigans, rather than all these admirers and defenders of yours who do nothing but praise you and see your activities in the best possible light? I specified a few monikers, such as the church lady and maybe one or two others.

So, "piddly" could really only mean these people whom you reference have not ponied up the money the way you do, Mahatma. We need some real funds here, and you're the historical patsy.

It makes sense. The cavalier and dismissive attitude that some of the believers have shown regarding the huge losses some of us went through makes more sense coming from people with not a lot of skin in the game. In other words, a lot of these hard-core PT acolytes never had that much skin in the game.

Side note: 8thaero obviously does not fall into this group. He apparently invested more than $2 million, although I'm too tired to go research the exact figure.

P.S. I'm going to add an additional post discussing Deb's outrageously uneducated and sloppy e-mail. When I copied and pasted it a few minutes ago into this post, I had to re-read it ........... UGLY ........ does anyone out there start getting "anger issues" when reading it? The implication that they needed another "volve" (VOLVO hauler truck I presume) -- implication being they had so much earth to move and mine that one truck just couldn't do the job! -- just strikes me as a callous, totally false, lie to get The Patsy (moi) to pony up one more time. I'm really angry just simply re-reading this immoral crap. Anyone else want to discuss Deb's e-mail? On what grounds were we regaled with reports of Thompson's intelligence and smarts lo these 7 years ago or so? An intelligent, smart parent does not let a child grow up with such a lousy and embarrassing grasp of the english language, for one thing. Anyway, I'll stop for a few just to calm down.

One final note: Posting Deb's e-mail brings back the painful experience of being called a liar for simply posting Deb's e-mail. Remember that in July of 2020, the current lie being promoted was that there was going to be no more dilution nor toxic borrowing. PT had promised this back towards the end of 2019, and this was the "truth" that the believers were trumpeting day in day out. Then, this bomb from Deb. And what happens ... well, here's a snippet from the Church Lady: .. it's simple ... we don't believe you. Excellent DD there, and an excellent commitment to truth. Didn't Jesus say The truth will set you free? What crazy things blind faith, blind religion make you do ...

Comments on Deb's e-mail are very welcome ... thx

I think I know what piddly means, it just seemed an odd response by PT.

Here.....I'll use it in a couple sentences:

"MXSG is now worth a piddly $0.0001."

"MXSG never produced more than a piddly amount of gold."

I am glad you finally woke up to the grift that was going on, and didn't fall for another round of begging for cash. Some people never wake up and keep donating to the bitter end......

I wonder what Deb, Paul Sr., Paul Jr. and other assorted hangers-on are doing for folding money these days? Actually working, at real jobs? Somehow I doubt it....they all got too reliant on all the free money.

MizSilly probably lost a lot less than you think.

Back in July 2020, Deb sent me (and me alone) a money-seeking e-mail about needing to fund an audit. This was after almost 9 months of the go4gold board trumpeting PT's previous promise of "no more dilution" or borrowing. I couldn't believe the chutzpah behind this request, and was furious and posted the e-mail (both here and on go4gold).

You folks will remember this e-mail: the one that was so poorly written and with such egregious grammar (e.g., "things are going real good"). The e-mail also implied that they also needed money to hire another volvo truck (I think volvo, but that's beside the point) because of all the enormous mining activity going on.
It was a typical, fraudulent mxsg request to keep ponying up more money, but I was the only one who received it ... MizSilly immediately called me a liar when I posted it.

Basically, I had foolishly funded previous "audits" (always with the same promise that once the audit was complete, riches were to be had). So, in July 2020, they e-mailed The Patsy.

But I e-mailed Deb/Thompson right back with the question "Why are you asking me for more funds, and not [MizSilly and some of the other egregious promoters and blind faithers in Thompson]?"

I got back a one-word reply from Deb (and she mentioned it was from Dad): piddly

Ironically, this may have been the only occasion when PT actually spoke the truth to me. When I posted this subsequent response, the believers went bananas. But, it still begs the question, which I think PT did answer: Why did they e-mail me, knowing that since at least a year-and-a-half previously, I had awoken and became critical of Thompson's lies? Why me, and not "the gang"? ......... piddly may very well be the answer. It would also help explain the lack of anger on the part of some of these people regarding thompson: losing a couple of thousand is not like losing 6 figures.

Anyway, something to think about.

Reaching out to converse with other highly educated ...

Ah yes, from The Grand Enabler.

Her "Christianity" is merely a smoke screen, like veneer, over her narcissism. "Highly educated" ... can narcissism be any more obvious?

This whole religious-hunker-in-the-bunker-biblical-whatever clan -- MizSilly in particular -- reminds me of a quote from the mystic and poet Thomas Merton (a Cistercian Trappist monk), who wrote:

"Would that more people acted like Christ than invoked his name, called upon his blessings, shouted Hallelujah to the heavens, and then acted like a&&holes towards other people. We have reached a point where a basic Buddhist will have more in common with Jesus than those exploiting his name, and by a wide margin."

A trip down memory lane.
There were so many classics strewn along the path to penny stock scam oblivion, it is difficult to point out the most outstanding but here is one.......

"Being an informed investor in the building of a prosperous mining business requires enormous amounts of understanding/investigative knowledge of precious metal properties. It demands significant reading to self educate yourself about mining processes and trust in the strategies chosen by the management. Reaching out to converse with other highly educated and personal resource people are positive decision factors before investing. Often overlooked, is the capability of discernment, after due diligence has been accomplished. Discernment is a sacred gift given to those individuals that study, demonstrate courage required to take investment action as a result of their due diligence."
And then there was the classic "Little Engine That Could", these and many more penned by the incomparable "Mizzy".

good post my friend.
The name calling escalated to the point where I was once denounced as being the devil's disciple.
the mxsg believers are now doing the same on the SPZI board. We bring up, cite, and directly quote New Jersey and Pennsylvania court decisions revealing the fraudulent nature and activities of the crew who set up and run SPZI, and for this learningthetruth et al. talk about the divine punishment that awaits us for libelling and demeaning honest business men. It's as if the believers are in a different universe (mentally/psychologically, they are indeed in a different world).

You get to the point where you begin to sympathize (just a teeny bit) with the scamsters .... it's like: why the h&ll am I documenting fraud, theft, massive unpaid debts, when we become the butt of the hostility and negativity. Go ahead and invest in the scam, and lose everything. I'm not proud of this sentiment, since some foolish, but very decent, people can be terribly hurt by these scams, but still, it's a reflexive human emotion. LET THE NEGLIGENT POMPOUS BELIEVERS LOSE THEIR MONEY ....

yes, the attorney

certainly, the attorney would be present at all points in the mxsg set-up, and would be careful not to expose the enteprise to too much scrutiny. This is why they selected to be a Nevada corporation. This point (nevada incorporation) was brought up years ago, and the believers naturally took the best-case-scenario and proposed that the Nevada incorporation protected mexus gold from a lot of lawsuits and the like .... but what they overlooked, and this is a point that one of the experts on OTC investing that I was researching pointed out: A NEVADA INCORPORATION ALSO PROTECTS AND HIDES THE ENTERPRISE FROM THE PRYING EYES OF SHAREHOLDERS. When you consider that most otc stocks fail, this latter is the real reason for Nevada incorporations on the OTC.

anyway, my 100% true hindsight. Hindsight is always true, and always worthless.

Equally interesting to me (along with who bore responsibility for the scam) is the psyche of the true believers. As difficult as it is to believe, there were (normally) intelligent people who were caught up in the deception. Whether they hung on to deceive themselves that they had not been fleeced or they honestly believed the hype, who knows. The wrath evoked in some by those critical of "Thompson's Folly" was truly amazing. The name calling escalated to the point where I was once denounced as being the devil's disciple.
And then there were those who were just abjectly stupid.....you still out there rich2 ?Nothing can be said in their defense.
Altogether, it was interesting to witness the disparate emotions that a stupid penny stock evoked. Ah, penny stocks..........that's how Bernie Madoff made his start.

Yeah, a lot of scurrilous folks involved in the promoting and pumping of this garbage "mining" company. A rogues gallery. And some useful idiots thrown into the mix. Rich, you out there with your "chance" money?

But of all the folks you mentioned, I still don't think that the person that set this whole thing up is mentioned often enough.....the attorney. He kept them just legal enough to stay out of serious SEC trouble. He most likely handled the mechanical operations of the scheme, quietly, behind the scenes. It would be interesting to see how much he took in during the course of this thing.....not saying he did anything illegal, but I seriously doubt that PT had the intellect or knowledge to make things run and the money flowing.

git: do you remember one of my posts from a while back where I noticed in an old PR or some such communication that one of the "honcho" investors in Mexus Gold was a Nevada brothel owner with a shady past (and whose brother, i think, was a known pumper/dumper in previously documented scams)?

And then hiring Jeff Baclet, a known Christian-affinity fraudster who populated all his communications with Biblical quotes, and whose only function, if you simply think about it, was to scam Biblical Christians .... gee, I wonder what that was all about??

a couple of the mxsg "true believers" (learningthetruth, rich2, garygoldbug, and one or two others) are currently pumping one of the most egregious frauds and scams that we've ever seen on the OTC (SPZI .... whose founder(s) and directors have criminal records of unpaid debts, fraud, lies, and ... did I say .. unpaid debts?).

I think that our hunker-in-the-bunker-waiting-for-Armageddon believers have a certainly personality type that, instead of stepping back to coldly analyze the investment situation, look for otc heroes for the pot-of-gold riches they so desire. In other words, they latch on to people instead of the actual enterprise these "people" are promoting. Go back and re-read their posts, and this is PRECISELY what they did with Paul Thompson: Thompson, not the never-producing enterprise known as Mexus Gold, became the object of veneration and support. VERY FOOLISH and DANGEROUS (and SUICIDAL in otc pinky land)

What fools made up the major part of Go4Gold, and they still (although with very weakened voices) are bringing up how the recent rise in gold ($1850 to the $2300's) will have a positive effect on our mxsg accounts. OY and SHEESH (and any other expletives you care to add).

Who are these "thieves" and "wretched scammers"? I always felt that Thompson was not sophisticated enough to really run things (other than cobbling together equipment out of scrap iron)....so who put the corporate structure together, the promotions, the private placements, etc.?

The attorney is my guess.

An interesting thing about Don's participation in this whole fiasco:

Quite a while ago, Don revealed on the go4gold (it would have to be that or IHUB, and I don't think IHUB) that he had finally had a frank tete-a-tete with the redoutable Paul Thompson, and Thompson apparently read him the riot act, and told him that Don Phillips was the problem, not Thompson. How Thompson could have the chutzpah to make such a bizarre claim still baffles me, but Don was clear on this point. That's when he started avoided talking about Thompson ... apparently there was a really bad riff between them. This was several years ago, at least, by the way. (I would say sometime in 2019). On numerous occasions from this point on, Don would acknowledge that he (don) was no longer in the loop and was "incommunicado" with The Liar. This is where jake's (wxdog's) participation in unreflectively spreading Thompson's telephone crap became more critical to sustaining the enterprise. I do remember early on, it was Don that was constantly expressing his frequent dialogues with The Liar, ... this of course stopped after the "riff".

What still baffles me is that, even after having Thompson insult him in such a nasty and extreme fashion (especially when you consider the early and critical support that Don gave Thompson), Don still refused publicly to "see the light" on the mxsg fiasco ... and so Don continued with his negativity towards the "flubbers" and with a somewhat weakened positive stance on Mexus Gold (but still a positive stance with public negativity expressed only towards git, f4u, and the "crew"). It's as if his pride could not allow him to admit that he goofed terribly (as I did early on ... I GOOFED TERRIBLY) in entrusting so much money -- and encouraging others to entrust their money -- with thieves. It's this terribly immoral aspect of Thompson -- that he revealed himself to be a liar and willing figurehead for these wretched scammers who managed the Mexus "story" -- that Don and all the rest of the god-fearing gang on go4gold just refuse to acknowledge.

Anyway, this whole episode of Don's condemnation by Thompson just doesn't sit right with me. Why didn't Don just "wake up" and acknowledge what was going on? Pride? .... what was it?

There is little doubt that Phillips was a redoubtable character at one time. The U.S. Air Force doesn't award a DSC for no reason and Phillips won that award on three different occasions. It is my belief that the wounds that he sustained resulted in the flawed character that he later became. Possibly he was always a pompous braggart but I believe that it was an evolution. His incoherent lapses not withstanding, the man did have some investment savvy early on. Unfortunately, he was perceived as some sort of guru which apparently pleased him no end much to the detriment of his followers.

Rest in peace fellow airman and may you suffer no clear air turbulance.

The dead parrot and the Black Knight are classics.
Black Knight reminiscent of "investors" who kept buying mxsg regardless of the facts indicating a scam

even on the can't buy any market

I bet if you offered to buy at 0.0002, you could buy up all the millions of shares you could ever want.....and not spend all of your stash of "chance money". Load da boat, Rich!!!

Yup, as someone who left his last barge foundering on a beach in Nome....there is no way that PT did a thing to clean up the Santa Elena minesite, or neutralize the leach pads. The only possible way he would have done it is if there was a reclamation bond that could only be retrieved if he did the neutralization. I guess we'll never know.

If it was neutralized you can bet it wasn't because of anything that Thompson did.

He took valuable things, leaving junk material on the property, also holes and excavations everywhere, crushed stones and a part of the property that was destroyed with Dynamite.

What I am trying to ask is this....did PT and Mexus clean up the mine site before leaving? Or just take everything of value, and walk away?
