NetImpact Holdings Signs Professional Services Teaming Agreement With Alkemiya LAS VEGAS, April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NetImpact Holdings, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: NTHD) today announced that it has signed a Professional Services Teaming Agreement with Alkemiya L.L.C., an Alkemiya Group company. Alkemiya is an international communications, education and business development professional partnership with offices in the United States and England. Alkemiya and its associates have senior-level relationships and ongoing business programs in more than 20 African, Sub-Continent, European and Latin American countries. Because these countries have a stated need for healthcare services and products, the Teaming agreement was signed so Alkemiya and its associates can approach these countries presenting NetImpact's healthcare capabilities as a solution to many of their healthcare needs. Alkemiya will benefit from contracts awarded to NetImpact because under the Teaming agreement they will be the exclusive provider of all communications installation, maintenance and management of the networks and services related to supporting the transfer of healthcare data as well as providing associated training and distance learning services. Alkemiya and its associates have access to entities that have funds for healthcare programs that target developing countries. Alkemiya believes that through this plan they will have a very good chance of obtaining additional contract funding for the Team's initiatives. "Entering into this relationship with Alkemiya provides the opportunity for both companies to increase their respective business base from contracts awarded to NetImpact," NetImpact stated. "Healthcare is a cornerstone for the economic development of any country. The implementation of these healthcare programs requires significant communications networks and teaming as part of the overall deployment." "Because Alkemiya and its associates are currently working in target developing countries and have existing relations with the governments and Ministries, we will approach the appropriate government officials to jointly conduct assessment studies of their healthcare needs, the support communication infrastructure and distance and e-learning requirements," Alkemiya stated. "Utilizing Alkemiya's and its associates' strengths and our excellent resources, the chances for success of the Team are much greater." NetImpact will focus on establishing a "Healthcare Infrastructure" utilizing NetCare7.0, its patented software and operating system, to manage the collection, analysis and dissemination of healthcare data between the various healthcare facilities. The governments through the Ministries of Health will have the information to deliver and improve the delivery of care. Once started, NetImpact will pursue additional funding to provide its patented and licensed MDS 200 disease detections systems to these countries. The MDS200 lab-in-a-box is a breakthrough technology for disease detection. Currently it is capable of automatic preparation and testing of samples containing cell, protein, nucleic acid and chemical analytes. The MDS200 can be deployed as a P.C.-based system or as a small suitcase size ruggedized portable laboratory designed for use in remote areas with non- existent or scarce laboratory facilities and readily carried from location to location. Test results are displayed on the unit's LED and can be sent via satellite, wireless or dial-up connections. Once a samplehas been placed in the lab-in-a-box, the processing is spontaneous. While operating an MDS200 does not require a trained medical technician, the program will create hundreds of jobs for training of in-country personnel. This jobs training program, as provided by Alkemiya, will be a key requirement that will ensure that the long-term program objectives will be met and that real benefits are provided to every country that implements the NetImpact healthcare program.
