At its annual general meeting held on September 27, 2012, Oxford
Investments Holdings Inc. (OTCQB: OXIHF), was pleased to report to
shareholders that despite a number challenges related to the
processing industry in China during 2012, the Company still managed
to incrementally increase revenues from transaction processing. The
Company is currently processing an average of $2.8 million worth of
transactions per month, and recently had a record week of just
under $1 million worth of transactions. While transaction volumes
fluctuate on a week-to-week basis, the Company expects the upward
trend in revenue growth to accelerate.
Over the past year, transaction processing was derived mainly as
a result of Oxford’s efforts in executing credit card acquiring
channels throughout the world. As this has shown to be a profitable
and growing business for Oxford, the Company has expanded its
efforts to pursue transactional processing gateway software license
agreements with multiple channel partners.
These agreements will not bring any financial exposure or risk
to Oxford in relation to the merchants and/or the acquiring banks.
The transactional gateways will be hosted, supported, and managed
by the partners. The move from service commissions to implementing
the Oxford wallet will allow Oxford to continue to bring acquiring
banks and partners to its channels, thus allowing the channels to
leverage these solutions to derive additional transactional
commission revenue to Oxford in a more seamless and operationally
proficient manner.
“We expect the current revenues resulting from this structure to
increase significantly over the next fiscal year” stated Michael
Donaghy, President of Oxford. “As Oxford increases our footprint in
the credit card processing arena, these strategic agreements would
move Oxford one step closer to becoming and/or acquiring a payment
processing company.”
