German sportscar maker Porsche AG said Tuesday August deliveries rose 21% on the year in all sales regions with particularly high demand in the U.S. and China.

MAIN FACTS:

-Porsche delivered 10,912 cars to customers worldwide in August.

-In the U.S., August sales were up 39% to 3,026 cars.

-Deliveries to China were up 28% to 2,882 cars.

-European deliveries increased the least of all sales regions, up 13% to 2,830 cars in August.

-Demand for the 911 sports car and mid-engine Boxster sports car was particularly high.
