Radient Announces Q2 2023 Financial Results

Radient continues to implement its restructuring plan. The Company intends to focus on the Company's hydrocarbon concentrate product lines and may likely cease the production of cannabis pre-rolls products. Sales of hydrocarbon concentrates continue to improve, and the Company is receiving repeat-customer orders and positive product reviews.

It's been six weeks since this news so I'm hoping the restructuring with the lender is taking place. We know the products are popular because they are Top 10 in SK, and have been for months. To me the $1+ million quarter was respectable considering the circumstances. Hopefully we get positive news on the loan restructuring so they can continue to build on it. Fingers Crossed :) GLTA

Happy to see the founder of the company taking a bigger role in the turnaround. Usually no one with more skin in the game than the founder. Even happier to see Radient with 4 of the Top 10 selling concentrates in Saskatchewan, according to recently updated Headset Data for the province.

Happy to see that Radient has delivered on it's promise to begin commercial production and distribution of Cannabis 2.0 concentrates with partner HighGrade. This plus the pre-roll partnership with All Good taps the fastest growing categories in the US and Cannada. These are the categories with margins high enough to prosper where flower currently is high cost low margin. Believe the Cannabis 2.0 LP's like Radient will be first to profits. My only suggestion is to get into infused pre-rolls, which is the fastest growing category of all.

Will update when I see new HighGrade produced concentrates on the market. Radient has been through the ringer recently but all signs are looking up to me. Congrats to the RTI team!!! glta

TRX Dried Flower Now Available In Alberta...

Was glad to see two new reviews for TRX dried flower on Reddit. Both were positve with nice closeups of the frosty buds. It's good they are getting into the largest cannabis category for sales with a well known legacy product from TRX. Thinking this will be a big seller for Radient at a reasonable price for ultra-premiun flower. Will upate when I see it in other provinces. All Good Pre-Rolls Sold Out In BC (Again)...

It appears All Good pre-rolls are a hit in BC. This is the second sell out in the last four weeks. Hopefully BCCS will place a real big order for restock.

People seem to like cigarette style pre-rolls. Possibly current or ex-smokers comfortable with a familiar shape and package style. The ones with the pig tails do look silly and obvious :) All Good is more incognito :) Looking forward to seeing more A G offerings coming to market.

I've also seen posts about a new Radient flower brand coming out called Social Gatherings. I'll keep an eye out for that, and update as new things arrive.

According to this press release All Good made an agreement in the US to provide pre-roll manufacturing equipment to a LP in California. Sounds similar to the one made with Radient. Not sure if Radient is any way involved with this venture. Hope so :) Fingers Crossed... glta

Only took a few days to sell out on the BC Cannabis Stores website. Could have been a BCCS test run to see how they would sell. Hopefully now BCCS makes a much bigger order to restock ASAP. Radient Launches All Good Collective Pre-rolls In BC...

Smart they started with popular Northern Lights indica flower with high thc levels for their introduction. All Good is using cigarette style pre-rolls, which have been big value sellers for Back 40, and Redecan. Both are currently sold out online leaving All Good the only cig style pre-roll available. All Good has higher thc levels and sells for almost double the other two.

In an email from his public-relations agency, Terry Booth refuted the claims of the class-action suit and pointed to a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, which has been filed on several grounds. Aurora’s legal team says that the lawsuit is generally deficient, its allegations are based solely on hindsight and it should be struck out. The motion contends, among other things, that the claims related to Radient are purely speculative, the plaintiffs fail to allege facts that support any evidence of a round-trip transaction and there is nothing unusual about a sell-and-hold transaction—in this case, where the product sold to Radient (biomass) was different from the product purchased from Radient (extract).

Radient, which is not a defendant in the suit, did not respond to my requests for comment. According to corporate documents from 2020, “Aurora ceased to have significant influence over the Company [Radient] as a result of no longer having a director on the Company board and their ownership dropping below 10 per cent of the Company and therefore were no longer considered a related party to the Company.”

The headline for me is Radient is not a defendant in the suit. This is all water under the bridge now, but still a interesting snapshot of the hype and excesses of the time. The former Radient insider sounds like she's relieved to be out of the cannabis business, but still rooting for Radient to succeed in its present form. I'm rooting for Radient too :) glta

If Radient can develop some popular brands maybe Aurora or someone else would acquire them. Fortunately TRX has a good reputation in the legacy market to build on. Still seeing TRX products online. Happy to hear they'll be launching pre-rolls in March. Right now infused pre-rolls are hot, and disappear quickly online. Regular pre-rolls disappear too if they are high thc (25%+) at a reasonable price. If it were me I'd focus on infused products using in-house concentrates infused in Tunaaaaroom flower. This should be a smooth transition since TRX has been working with Radient for over a year now. They bring Radient a vast genetic library tested over years in the legacy market. They also have a understanding of the legacy culture for marketing to legacy customers. This is still a largely untapped well of customers that needs to be fully tapped.

With Radient's low cost extraction abilities they can now compete with the grey market using a well known legacy brand. Same goes for HighGrade coming in from the legacy market as a well respected brand. Hopefully they will bring other legacy brands to Radient in the future.

Now that TRX are stakeholders it would be to their advantage to bring in as many as possible. Make Radient a happy landing place for legacy brands transitioning to legal. Lots of good info from the Radient management team on what's currently happening with the company. Sounds like the new pre-roll and hydrocarbon equipment will be in production this month. Company plans to launch 100+ new products in 2022 in all categories.

They also said there will be more partners and brands coming onboard using RTI's turnkey production and distribution platform. Lots more good info included. Everyone sounded really upbeat about future, which is always a good sign to me :) glta

Smart move going into pre-rolls with the category currently growing faster than dried flower, which is saturated at the moment. Also in demand are infused pre-rolls that are just getting started in Canada.

Happy to see they are staffing up to start producing pre-rolls right away. Sounds like the pre-roll launch will coincide with the launch of new HighGrade products, along with new Atomic EH products.

Glad to see Radient insiders taking part in the financing. Insiders don't usually invest their own cash without high hopes of getting it back, and then some. This is always a good sign to me.

This $2M cash infusion should go a long way building inventories for the higher volume spring and summer seasons. Harry doing a good job chipping away at the debt while still increasing production.

Agree Guns, Now they have the license they need to produce infused pre-rolls, which are big sellers in the US markets. Radient will be a first mover on this product in Canada if they act quickly.

With Radient's 3rd quarter coming to a close this month, I was happy to see Radient products were well stocked throughout the quarter. Especially in Alberta where they seem to have gained a foothold in the province. This is good because Alberta is second only to Ontario in cannabis sales. Expecting a much bigger quarter because of holiday sales.

To me Radient has all the pieces in place to grab 2.0 market share once TRX are officially onboard and ramping production. Hoping that happens soon to get more product to market asap. I'm sure TRX and HighGrade management understand that concentrate sales are 9% market share in mature markets like California, and that immature markets like Canada are barely scratching surface at around 1%.

Hey JP68, looks like Radient is finally on the right track producing their own brands and selling directly to the provinces. With concentrates starting to take off in Canada I'm taking a starter position.

The new CEO seems to be getting their financial house in order. To me Radient's extraction IP alone is worth their current market cap. They will still need to increase sales, and I'm seeing more Radient products online than ever before.
