German private hospital operator Rhoen-Klinikum AG (RHK.XE) Thursday said that Mr. Wolfgang Pfoehler, Chairman of the management board, will be leaving the company as of Dec. 31, 2012.

MAIN FACTS:

- Rhoen-Klinikum's Chief Financial Officer Dr. Erik Hamann will leave the management board as of Sep. 30.

- Mr. Jens-Peter Neumann will be the new CFO and join the management board from Nov. 1.

- In late June, Fresenius SE (FRE.XE) had made an offer for 90% of Rhoen-Klinikum at 22.50 euros ($29.02) per share, but the offer failed
