Ranger Gold Corp. (OTCBB: RNGC) is pleased to announce the completion of its initial mapping and sampling program on the Truman Project located in Mineral County, Nevada.

In the fall of 2010, Ranger initiated a mapping and sampling program on its Truman Project. This evaluation resulted in the survey, underground mapping and sampling of approximately 4,200 feet of historic adits and stopes. The outcome of this program has identified several mineralized structures.

"We are very excited with the results of the mapping and sampling studies from our Truman property," said Gary Basrai, President of Ranger. "The results from these studies support the next step of our exploration program which will lead to drilling in the near future."

Ranger is currently conducting cultural and archeological surveys on the Truman property. As well, the United States Forest Service ("USFS") will be conducting a biological survey on the property. The drill permit application for the Truman Project has been submitted to the USFS and Ranger is awaiting approval.
