Siemens Acquisition of Heliox Faces UK Competition Probe

The U.K. Competition and Markets Authority said it has launched
an investigation regarding the acquisition of Heliox by a Siemens
subsidiary.
The watchdog said that it will consider if the deal made by
Siemens International Holding for the Netherlands-based
electric-vehicle charging specialist may result in a substantial
lessening of competition.
The CMA has invited for comments by Nov. 10, while the
first-phase decision of has a deadline of Dec. 22.
