Entertainment Company (OTCQB: STIE) (the "Company"), a technology
and game development and distribution company with operations in
Beijing and Ningbo, China, today announced the development
of Meng Jiang Lu, a mobile-based
collectable card game. The development of the game was initiated in
December 2012, and will launch closed
beta testing on or about August 20,
2013. The game is expected to be available on Apple's
App Store in October 2013. The Company's development team,
which is now based in Shanghai, is
led by the founder and former head of Coconut Island Studio, Mr. Ye
Feng.
The Company is also currently converting the original 108
Warriors MMORPG to a mobile and web-based game. Additionally,
1799.com, the Company's browser game platform launched in
November 2012, has started generating
revenue since December 2012. The
platform currently has over 232,000 registered users, with more
than 40,000 having joined in the last three months.
The Company will continue to focus its online game division on
distribution, with both Chinese and International third party
developers, in addition to its proprietary web-based and mobile
games.
