Therma-Med, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: THRA) today announced it has commenced negotiations with a health center located in the Niagara region of Southern Ontario, Canada to further develop Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) services to their existing client base. The fact that this technology is a non-invasive clinical imaging procedure for detecting and monitoring both injuries and diseases has made this service desirable.

DITI has been recognized as a viable diagnostic tool since 1987 by the AMA council on scientific affairs, the ACA council on Diagnostic Imaging, the Congress of Neurosurgeons in 1988 and in 1990 by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A number of studies have been done to determine DITI's inter-examiner reliability and validity. DITI has good clinical utility, is cost effective, risk-free and provides instantaneous real time imaging. DITI should be used by doctors treating common disorders for diagnostic and assessment purposes. It is hoped that now medical DITI has become more economical it will allow doctors to maximize their specialist skills through access to this objective test of physiology and ultimately benefit their patients.

This represents a continuation of the business model of bringing affordable thermal imaging services to chiropractic and wellness centers throughout North America at a minimal cost.
