Tytan Holdings, Inc. ("the Company") (PINKSHEETS: TYTN), is pleased
to announce the solution to a long standing problem: Finding the
correct filters for your Chinese-made engines. There are
approximately 400,000 engines in the US & Canada running
everything from tractors to generators to marine equipment. And
each one needs a minimum of four filters replaced every fifty hours
of operation on average. To date, consumers and dealers were hard
pressed to find the correct part and when they did it was at a very
steep price.
All this changes today with the launch of Tytan's Engine Filter
Program. This program, the first of more to come, came about from a
one year market study which indicated there was a large niche to
fill in this market. Tytan is perfectly suited to this task, since
it has longstanding relationships with the manufacturers of such
parts in China. The Company has negotiated successfully to be a
direct importer of these goods. The program features a complete
catalog of cross-referenced parts & engines that will be made
available to consumers, dealers and large auto part chain stores.
Like with any domestic engine, one will be able to look up exactly
what filter is needed with information provided on each engine.
Orders will be placed directly to Tytan either by phone or online
at http://www.tytantractor.com/OrderMarch.pdf. Large retailers and
dealers will keep their own stock on hand.
Tytan has gone one step further in simplifying the process of
identifying, ordering and shipping the correct filters. It has
arranged for the filters to be properly numbered, barcoded and
repackaged into uniform, durable packaging suitable for display. As
a bonus solution, the correct O-ring seal will be included in each
box. Dealers and Merchants will receive a "crossover card" for
customer use at the point of sale. "This whole program should make
things much, much easier for people who want to maintain their
engines," said Tytan CEO Mark Leonard. "We spent a full year
researching this project. We understand the problem and we believe
we have an excellent solution."
Another advantage of this program will be the contacts generated
by consumers and dealers visiting the Tytan website. "We fully
expect this program to 'open doors' for our new line of equipment
and for the other new programs we have lined up," stated Leonard,
adding "We will post new developments as they happen."
The first shipment of oil, air, water and hydraulic filters has
already arrived at Tytan Headquarters. The program will now be
launched with full scale marketing to begin immediately.
