Vivendi Suspends Website After Cyber Attack

French entertainment-to-telecommunications conglomerate Vivendi
SA (VIV.FR) on Monday suspended its website after a cyber attack, a
spokeswoman said.
"The site was the victim of a cyber attack," she told Dow Jones
Newswires. "We decided to close it and are currently working to
re-establish and protect it," she added.
She declined to say when the attack happened or whether the
company knew who was behind it.
The Vivendi website currently has a message saying it is under
maintenance. At 1007 GMT, Vivendi's shares were down 0.3% at
EUR16.04.
