Universal To Sell $200 Million Of Music Catalogs: Sources - FT

Vivendi SA's (VIV.FR) Universal Music Group is selling three
music-publishing catalogs for up to $200 million, the Financial
Times reported Tuesday on its website, citing unnamed sources.
Universal's sale of its classical music, Christian gospel and
German schlager publishing catalogs is being run by Bank of America
Merrill Lynch, the report said.
The sale has attracted interest from about 12 bidders, including
U.S. and European private equity companies, as well as BMG Rights
Management, according to the report.
Universal declined comment, the report said.
