Exhibit A
to
Form 12b-25
Part IV, Item
(3)
The Company anticipates that its Form 10-K
for the year ended December 31, 2013 will contain results of operations that reflect a significant change from the year ended December
31, 2012
Based on information that is available
at this time, the Company’s net income from operations for 2013 is expected to be in the range of approximately $3.0 million
to $3.6 million, compared to a net loss from operations of approximately $2.2 million for 2012. This change is largely the result
of a decrease in revenues of approximately $1.7 million, lower general and administrative costs of approximately $1.8 million,
a decrease in impairment expense of approximately $2.6 million, a decrease in environmental cleanup costs of approximately $2.1
million, and a decrease in depletion expense of between approximately $0.3 million and $0.9 million. The Company cautions
that the estimation of net income from operations is preliminary and subject to change, possibly materially, following the completion
and audit of the Company’s financial statements.
