Cancellation of Preference Shares becomes Effective

Mucklow announces that the cancellation of the Preference Shares by way of a reduction of capital (the "Cancellation"), approved by Shareholders at the General Meeting and Class Meeting held on 5 September 2019, has today been approved by the Court. The Court Order approving the Cancellation has been registered with the Registrar of Companies and accordingly the Cancellation has now become effective.

Suspension and cancellation of trading and admission of Preference Shares

Mucklow confirms that the listing of Preference Shares on the standard listing segment of the Official List and trading of the Preference Shares on the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange have been suspended with effect from 7.30 a.m. today, 24 September 2019 and will remain suspended tomorrow, 25 September 2019.

It is expected that the listing of the Preference Shares on the standard listing segment of the Official List and the admission to trading on the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange will each be cancelled with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 26 September 2019.

A further announcement will be made when the admission to listing and admission to trading of the Preference Shares have each been cancelled.

Repayment

Preference Shareholders on the register at 10 p.m. today will be entitled to receive GBP1.60 for each Preference Share held.

Cheques and CREST payments pursuant to the Repayment are expected to be posted and made by 8 October 2019. All remittances will be sent to holders of Preference Shares (or in accordance with their directions) at their own risk.
