Ref.: Notification of Significant Event: Forward Start Facility

Dear Sirs,

The company, OBRASCON HUARTE LAIN, S.A. (OHL), in compliance with current legislation, hereby reports the following Significant Event:

In relation to the syndicated loan of 240 million euros that the is presently in force until January 2013, we inform you that today a Forward Start Facility has been signed, increasing the amount of the loan to 300 million euros and extending the maturity until January 2016.

Through this transaction, OHL: (i) anticipates and completes the renewal of the existing syndicated loan (increasing the maturity in three years), (ii) increases the amount of the facility (obtaining additional funds in the long term), and (iii) and consolidates an instrument that provides long-term flexibility to its financial structure.

In the transaction a total of 17 entities where involved, the syndication process was completed successfully and offers where received for a larger amount than was finally closed, therefore making it necessary to allocate the final amounts on a pro-rata basis.

This transaction is part of the OHL Group's financial policy to meet its permanent need with long term financing, and thus providing the Group with additional flexibility to dispose of the loan according to its needs at all times.
