                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought a total of 25,000 of its own shares,
being 15,000 A-shares and 10,000 B-shares for NOK 174.99 and NOK 160.64 per
share respectively.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 65,000 of its own
shares, being 45,000 A-shares and 20,000 B-shares.

The number of outstanding shares after this is 59,557,056.
