                                        ("ACMH")

                                    Transfer of Shares

ACMH, the fund management company focused on delivering investment returns
through the management of absolute return  equity, debt and property funds,
announces that CSI Asset Management Establishment ('CSI') has transferred part
of its  shareholding in ACMH to three ACMH funds. These transfers, comprising 2
million ACMH shares to the Absolute Octane  Master Fund Limited, 2 million ACMH
shares to the Absolute Activist Value Master Fund Limited, and 1 million ACMH 
shares to the Absolute European Catalyst Fund Limited, were made on 31 August
2007 for nominal consideration. The  closing mid-market price of an ACMH share
on 31 August 2007 was 434 pence.

Each of these funds has agreed that if, at any time prior to 31 August 2010, it
disposes of any of these shares in  ACMH, it shall pay to CSI an amount equal to
50 per cent. of the amount by which such fund's proceeds of transfer  exceed 434
pence.

CSI is a Liechtenstein Anstalt, the beneficiary of which is Florian Homm, who is
Co-Chief Investment Officer of ACMH  and responsible for the three funds above.

ACMH has today announced performance figures for its funds in August 2007, which
are available on ACMH's website at  www.abcapman.com . Following these
transfers, performance of the funds referred to above was as follows:
