ordinary  shares  to A M Cooke under the  Advance  Visual
Communications  plc Approved Company  Share  Option  Plan
2000. These options are exercisable from 4 May 2004 until
3 May 2011 at 5p per share.

Following this grant, A M Cooke has options over a  total
of 621,093 ordinary shares.

The  Company  has  today  granted  options  over  750,000
ordinary  shares to A S Sabeti under the  Advance  Visual
Communications plc Unapproved Company Share  Option  Plan
2000. These options are exercisable from 4 May 2001 until
3 May 2004 at 5p per share.

Following this grant, A S Sabeti has options over a total
of 750,000 ordinary shares.
