AGA Foodservice Group plc ('the Company')


In accordance with Section 198-202 of the UK Companies Act 1985, AGA Foodservice
Group plc has today been advised that Aviva plc and its subsidiary companies
have a notifiable interest in 15,075,896 ordinary shares in the Company
representing 11.76% of the issued ordinary share capital.  This follows the
disposal of 650,000 ordinary shares, representing 0.5% of the Company's issued
share capital.  The registered holders of the shares to which this notification
relates are set out below:
