TRADING CONTINUES IN LINE WITH EXPECTATIONS

Aga Foodservice Group announces that trading since the interim results was in line with market expectations.

UK consumer operations performed well with sales of Aga branded cookers exceeding 9,000 in a year for the first time.
The newly repositioned Rangemaster and Fired Earth saw good sales growth. In the US, Domain, operating in challenging
consumer markets, is meeting its targets. Major new stores drawing on products from across the Group have opened
recently in Washington DC, Marseille, Birmingham and Edinburgh.

In the foodservice operations, UK bakery remains strong and in the US, bakery and refrigeration performed well. Falcon
and Williams, the UK non-bakery foodservice operations, continued to be impacted by weak underlying demand from market
segments such as hotel chains. The base for European expansion provided by the newly acquired Bongard is encouraging.

The Group's overall financial position remains strong and the net cash balance at the end of the year was over 50
million.

The preliminary results for the year ended 31st December 2002 will be issued on 21st March 2003.
